This firm has an opening for a Web/UI Programmer Intern. The intern will be doing web UI work on a Java application used for gaming websites. The intern will work with Senior UI Programmers on UI enhancements to our system using JSP, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript to implement well-defined change requests and enhancement requests. The intern will be given sufficient guidance where necessary, but will be expected to be a self-starter who can learn quickly. This is a UI programmer position, so good working knowledge of JSP and JavaScript is as important as proficiency with CSS. This is a great opportunity to work directly on a product that already has a vast user-base and to see your work released to a Production Environment. The intern will gain real-world experience working on a state-of-the-art Java stack, including Spring, Struts 2, and JBoss, and will have a chance to be a contributing member of a veteran team working in an Development environment.

Interns must:

• Be presently enrolled in a 4yr college/university with a computer science or equivalent major
• Must love to code (and be good at it)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Demonstrated team member skills
• Ability to work 30-40 hours a week
