This Housekeeping internship is responsible for Supervisory duties in the Housekeeping department. This includes inspecting guest rooms, resolving guest complaints, general office duties, etc. Recommended skills include:
The intern will performs functions in assigned areas of the facility including patient rooms, staff areas, offices, procedure/exam rooms, and public areas. These functions are completed following prescribed methods and established schedules. Maintain oversight of assigned areas to ensure they remain in a clean and sanitary condition free from dirt, dust and other visable soils. Ensure medical waste is handled in accordance with applicable regulations. No previous experience required, will train in place.
