Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity to work for one of the UK’s largest charities dealing with substance abuse.  You would work on one or more of their current projects which can involve; dealing with the press, responses to new legislation, creating new publishing materials, working on campaigns and events.  This role would be an amazing addition to your CV if you are considering a career within the third sector.  The job would require certain key skills including:

• Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
• Excellent communication skills
• Sensitivity and an understanding of substance abuse related issues.
• An interest in marketing/public affairs.

Company Profile:

This charity, started in 1967, publishes a range of leaflets and booklets to keep the public better informed about drugs and their effects. As well as guides to specific drugs ad information on overdose and safer injecting, they also publish leaflets to help families and young people understand the issues.  They are one of the UK’s largest drug treatment agencies; the charity now provides services to over 25,000 people a year.
