The Immigration/Translation Services Intern will be working with our regional London Office Manager by gathering information, completing immigration paperwork, tracking filing progress, and maintaining case files. The person will have a significant amount of direct interaction with immigration clients. Additionally, this intern must speak, read, and write fluently in at least one language other than English to assist the Office Manager by translating documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, and school diplomas to English.

Domestically, our 22 resettlement offices across the continent ensure new arrivals have food, shelter, and clothing, and work with refugees to help them gain self-sufficiency through English language classes, job training and placement services, assistance with various immigration procedures and services (such as applying for citizenship or filing to bring family members to the new country), and community participation activities.
