Job Description:

This position for Hotel Reception Intern will work to inform and advise guests throughout their stay at the Hotel. The Reception Intern should be familiarized with the surrounding area, having knowledge of restaurants, theaters, shopping centers, special attractions, and other entertainment/tourist destinations. The Hotel Reception Intern will establish relationships with vendors and will promote the hotel within our guests and community.

Duties for this internship will include:

• Serves as Concierge for the property (Familiar with all of what is going on in the Beach and must be able to provide an itinerary to our guest for their stay).
• Ensures that all guests needs are being serviced In a responsive and professional manner.
• Ensures smooth functioning of the front entrance and lobby area of the hotel’
• Maintains awareness of VIP arrivals and departures and ensures necessary special arrangements are met.
• Provides the highest level of customer service for all our guests.
• Ensures VIP guests are contacted in advanced and provides an Itinerary upon arrival.
• Ensures lobby has the warm and welcoming feel. Keep area clean and free of debris.
• Ensure the lobby music level and lighting is appropriate for the time of day cased on brand standard.
• Assist with Front Office duties as requested.
• Provide personalized service with guests and establish good relationships to ensure repeat visitation.
• Consistently enhances the guest arrival experience.
• Establishes and execute front desk and bellman training programs.
• Maintain stock supplies for all ROCKSTAR guest amenities.
• Coordinate guest transportation and activities as requested
