Job Description:

This dance studio is offering a Studio Internship opportunity focusing on arts administration, development, media and marketing. The intern will gain experience in operations, marketing, public relations and social media marketing strategies within an emerging and very active community based professional dance company. The development and marketing intern must have excellent oral and written communications skills, be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Duties will include assisting with:

• Marketing campaigns
• Production of seasonal events
• Grant research and application process
• Strategic database management

All applicants for this position should be available to commit for a minimum of 3 months, and preferably 35 hours per week. All interns will receive free attendance to all performances, as well as attendance to select classes at local dance studios.
