Job Description:

This company is looking for a fun, smart, ambitious Film Intern to help us with film festival screenings. Our film is starting the festival circuit and we need a dependable person to help calm the chaos. So, if you are a film student or interested in independent film, especially the festival circuit and marketing and distribution, then consider this great opportunity. If you have any graphic design or webmaster skills, that is a huge bonus.

You will be working with our producer and filmmaker to coordinate festival screenings and events. You will help with:

• Sending out press kits
• Sending out stills
• Update website, facebook and twitter accounts
• Help plan our viral marketing campaign.

The Film Intern will also need to help reach out to the Press in each event we tour and set up Street Teams to help place posters and get the word out about screenings. This job is for someone really wanting to learn more about this new DIY indie filmmaking movement, so plan to bring ideas and get your hands dirty.

Some work will be done independently and/or remotely.

The company pioneered a recent Film Festival. Its first feature film was the first to be selected by an online film agency as film of the year. They are hoping to grow the audience for their feature across the globe.
