Job Description:

Our summer Commercial Studio Internships are 10 to 12 weeks in duration, 40 hours per week. This intern will report to our Executive Producer and assist with all facets of audio and video production and post-production. Responsibilities on the video side will include running teleprompter for studio shoots, joining the camera team for field shoots and Final Cut Pro video editing. On the audio side responsibilities will include podcast and voice over recording, editing and mixing.

This internship will include administrative duties such as transcribing interviews, updating spreadsheets and wikis and distribution of videos to partner companies and websites.

• Current college junior or senior with major or degree in audio, video, film production or related field
• Experience in an audio control room environment and familiarity with digital audio editing techniques
• Final Cut Pro skills
• Web Skills (ex. familiarity with video files and codecs, ftp, xml, html)
• Knowledge of basic techniques in video shooting, editing and encoding
• Basic PC skills are important (ex. familiarity with MS Office, Excel and Outlook)
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize
• To be considered, you must be currently attending an accredited college with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. We also hire graduate students for internships.

The ideal candidates would be motivated to learn, resourceful, self-motivated, extremely well organized, and enthusiastic about audio and video production.
