Job Description:
This company is looking for a Strategic Marketing Intern to assist in supporting marketing communications across their full portfolio of clients. As a Strategic Marketing Intern, you can expect to:

Assist with communications pieces (e.g. electronic-Times, sales sheets, sales tools)

Assist with routing and approvals
-
Assist with webinars for training on the Portal (to customers or employees)

Assist with project management, scheduling of projects, and more
Direct responsibilities will include:
-
Working with eMarketing Communications Program Manager to participate and support programs that create pertinent sales tools or services delivery promotional tools, outbound marketing programs or advertising campaigns

Act as copy writer or editor for organization publications. May coordinate work (art traffic project management) of outside creative agency consultants

Support and execute public relations and goodwill programs to improve and support company business objectives with the public, industry, stockholders, and/or employees

Plan, prepare, write and disseminate information utilizing print and broadcast media; magazines, speeches, scripts, intranet and Internet website (especially the e-resources)

Submit photographs or other media; review artwork

May attend company events such as media/analyst conferences, briefings and presentations on company issues – for learning opportunities
Qualifications for interns will include:

Strong academic candidate, demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or better

Experience with teamwork and leadership, especially outside of the classroom

Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and Power Point

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to manage projects from concept to implementation
