Job Description:

This private bank is seeking to fill the position of Project Support Intern.  The intern will support various special projects for the Wealth Management division of the bank. For each project assigned, the intern will need to develop a project plan, make recommendations, and develop a timeline for each phase of the project.

Projects will include (but not limited to):

• Niche Strategy Support- evaluate new niche strategies
• Use existing data to determine penetration of niche within current portfolio
• Analyze market data to estimate potential of new niche
• Create tracking and reporting for any newly developed niches
• Segmentation Support- provide support for ongoing projects
• Exit Program - Evaluate client base to determine if clients are in the correct segment
• Contact Management/Customer Status Updates
• Web Analysis and social networking trends for this private bank
• Research competition to understand capabilities and products
• Location analysis - use our custom software and market data to identify potential new locations

The right candidate will be a first year MBA student with an interest in Wealth Markets business strategy development. In addition to your academic success, you will need to have the following qualifications:

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work on several projects simultaneously, and meet assigned deadlines
• Self-starter and strategic thinker that has the ability to synthesize ambiguous information
• Experience with internet research and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Verbal and written communication skills are extremely important in this position and you must be able to conduct a professional dialogue clearly and concisely
• Excellent organization, time management and keen attention-to-detail
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills
