Job Description:

This fashion design internship will be given the opportunity to work for a successful clothing company, preparing for its yearly launch into the marketplace. Experience in photography and designing is a plus. Interns will be exposed to all levels of the business including the creative and practical sides of launching a new clothing line. Successful interns should:

• Be highly creative
• Be able to take direction
• Move forward to from concept to the fulfillment of a vision
• Be experienced with graphic design trends
• Complete design projects in a timely fashion
• Be experienced or able to quickly learn Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

This internship will also include the following duties:

• Filing
• Finance
• Quality checking
• Social marketing
• Errands
• Phone calls
• Fashion shows
• Communication with store buyers
• Dealing with sales and PR

Interns must have understanding of all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.). This opportunity will give the person an understanding of how to run a small business.
