Job Description:

If you are interested in putting your art degree to work, you might be interested in this Art Director assistant Internship. The selected individual will team with copywriters to develop inspiring visual communications for consumer brands. Position requires development of layouts and design to support creative objectives. Individual should be creative, enthusiastic and strategic.

Primary responsibilities for the Art Director Intern include:

• Assist in creating and developing promotion, advertising and other brand communications as directed by group creative directors
• Design digital art for layout presentation
• Participate in presenting and explaining creative work in a group meeting situation
• Perform against project timetables, budgets and respond effectively to feedback on creative work
• Work collaboratively within a team in producing creative concepts.

Basic qualifications for the successful candidate include:

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design
• Must be of at least Sophomore status
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
• Developed knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Experience in interactive design, Flash and HTML a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task
