Job Description:

As a Web Based Sales Intern, you will spend you time working for this established hotel chain working to improve the effectiveness of their web sales campaign. Our internship is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn the details of web sales and publishing, acquire better software skills and participate in a deadline-sensitive environment at a professional company. Our firm relies heavily on the good work of interns. It is a chance to make a real difference and have the satisfaction of seeing your work realized before you. Intern duties include:

• Updating the rolling events pages
• Discovering and updating dining reviews
• Formatting images and text
• Proofreading all web documents
• Publishing daily content
• Copy typing articles from past content
• Testing the website
• Trouble shooting and maintaining e-commerce web information
• Compiling statistics on pass through traffic and landed sales

Successful interns will possess the following capabilities:

• Be familiar with the  computers
• Have an excellent eye for detail
• Possess acceptable language and communication skills
• Be interested in web publishing/design and sales
• Knowledge of HTML or/and Adobe applications
• Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
